Do you feel like your brand and marketing has lost a bit of direction recently? You’re not alone. We’re all in changing times. Now is the time to evaluate our brand and marketing strategies to meet the evolving needs of our audiences. Here are some hints and tips to help better focus your brand and marketing efforts for customer engagement.

Our hints and tips are based on core ways we’ve helped our clients to adapt their brand and marketing strategies to best resonate with their target audiences.

Evaluate what’s working and what’s not

If you haven’t got a robust process in place to evaluate ROI, now is the time to start. We’re all looking to operate even more efficiently at the moment. Use the evidence you can gather to inform your decisions. For example: evaluate your email campaigns and find out which subjects gained the highest open rates, what content gained the most clicks, what posts performed best on social media, how do your website analytics stack up, what is the most profitable and efficient services for you to promote?

Talk to your customers

Marketing is of course all about generating services and products to meet customer wants and needs. Is your organisation placing customers at the heart? We often think we know what our customers want. But, do we truly know? Have we actually asked them?

Talking to customers tells us all sorts of things. We can understand what problems they are facing which we can help solve, what they most value, how COVID-19 has impacted on their buying decisions, how we compare to our competitors, and so much more! It’s far easier to gain direction when we have the evidence to fuel our strategy and content.

Adapt and add value

We’re all in a whirlwind of rapid change. How have you adapted your services? The brands and organisations that adapt quickly to maintain relevance and to add value are the ones that will succeed. Only the best brands with the best experiences will stand out. If you haven’t identified how you can maximise your brand experience now is the time. Identify your gaps and perfect your products, services and customer experience so they want to return again and again.

These are just a few things to think about when adjusting your strategy to best resonate, build awareness and engagement with your clients.
