What the role entails
- Develop digital marketing strategies and plans for a range of clients including healthcare, construction, manufacturing, technology and charity sectors
- Develop relevant strategic plans that focus on achieving B2B marketing objectives and ROI with clear measurement including the full marketing mix (organic and paid)
- Confidently present marketing and campaign strategies to our clients and challenge their thinking, adding value, with a goal of achieving fantastic results for them
- Facilitate marketing workshops and project management meetings with clients and our internal team
- Lead meetings with our clients and internal team including following an agenda you’ve prepared in advance, taking detailed notes, asking all of the right questions to get the answers you need and ensuring everyone is clear on actions
- Have a deep understanding of what our clients do to make relevant strategic and commercial recommendations
- Track client budgets and ensure we have the correct figures ready for monthly invoicing – maximising growth for your accounts
- Manage marketing campaign plans to ensure that everything is completed to the highest standards, on time, on budget and to maximise ROI
- Complete social media paid ad and PPC audits and make strategic recommendations to maximise targeting, budget and lead generation
- Take the lead on client account meetings ensuring that our team and your clients are clear on the tasks for the week ahead and check in to make sure everything is on track throughout the week
- Oversee the work of our two Content Managers including – checking their client’s content plans, checking copy for sense (is it positioned appropriately for the target audience, purpose, tone of voice) and for grammar/typos
- Be a line manager and help to nurture personal and career development (following Embrace’s career development KPI process)
- Work with the team at Embrace to develop creative concepts and execute content campaigns for our clients
- The ability to write copy across media would be beneficial
- Provide thorough and clear briefs to our designers to develop visuals that represent the right message to support the copy
- Generate client proposals and quotes when needed
- Take the lead on a key strategic business initiative to help us to grow
- Train and nurture other team members on key Embrace processes as relevant to your role
Required skills
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in a marketing related role
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple clients and project types is essential
- Strategic thinking and application
- Copywriting would be beneficial
- An eye for design and what will resonate with the target audience
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Confident to lead and present to internal and external teams
- Fantastic organisational and project management skills
- Flexibility to work across several clients
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Determined to achieve the highest standards
- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, ideally emailer platforms and a basic understanding of WordPress
- Martech stack experience is essential including knowledge of CRMs, emailer platforms, AI and web, SEO and paid analytics

Location
Remote working, but ideally based in the North West as we meet for quarterly team meetings and socials, usually in Manchester. Our past socials have included Bongo’s Bingo, The Cube, Escape Room and meals and drinks out together.
Working hours
Monday–Thursday: 8.45am-5.15pm
Friday: 8.45am-4.30pm
Salary
Pro rata depending on level of experience.
